I first met Ondi Timoner at the Denver Premier of We Live In Public circa 2009. Which IMO is by far and away, the best flick about the early Internet days.
Ondi's new film that premiered on Netflix on 1.1.24 is "The New Americans: Gaming a Revolution".
It's also a winner. It's the first flick that accurately connects GameStop to the crypto boom. As I've said over and over, the GameStop connection has been overlooked. It's good to see Ondi get it right.
I don't believe the story told in New Americans is over. I think and I hope, it's just getting started.
