Being a Dead Head I knew who Steve Silberman was, but had lost track of him the past few years. Steve's impact wasn't financial, it was cultural. He meant a lot to those whose voices aren't heard through the noise, because they don't have a following. Thanks to Rolling Stone for this well written piece about him.
