When the MAGA crowd bemoans being politically correct, it’s a dog whistle for getting rid of decency. They want to say anything they want - anytime, anywhere.
They hate socialism. What they view as paying for what they don’t believe in, or what they think they don’t use - think social services, taxes, and public education.
They decry handouts, they lack empathy. They’re about rugged individualism, capitalism.
Alright, let’s do this. Let’s see what a MAGA world looks and feels like.
The fat bitch sitting next to me on the plane is taking up 15% of my seat. I’m uncomfortable, she pisses me off.
I’m skinny. I only use 85% of my seat. So I’m paying for her space. She’s getting a handout! Fuck that. She should have to pay 15% of my flight cost. The charge would show up on her billing statement as “You’re too fucking fat fee”. And I’m gonna suit her for ruining my flight.
We can have decency and empathy or MAGAism. Pick one you can’t have both.
